About Me:: As short and brief as I can attempt this.

I’m a fighter. A do’er. Driven. I’ve got more than a few physical battle scars that don’t serve as a crutch but rather war wounds — marks that retain a sense of pride and dignity of where ones come from. They keep me on my toes and uncommonly resilient. I like them for that.

I learned early on that life is far too short to be taken for granted in any terms. Action is what counts and I’ve been no stranger to putting that theory into play as often as possible.

This year I worked with the Barack Obama 2008 Presidential Campaign taking part in the unprecedented grassroots organization from day one. Most of my work focused on the key battleground states, as well as the critical issues I am most closely associated with. I watched as we changed history and ushered in a fantastic new chapter that brought a record number of people into the political process — many for the first time, many for the first time in a long time.

One of my proudest ongoing work is as representative for The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in conjuction with the National Humane Society. I am honored to have actively been a part of the family for over 10 years now. Time flies.

Currently I am working in the medical field.

I question a lot, and I seek to learn about things in sometimes unique and preeminent ways.

The arts are what I live by and what provide a kind of oxygen for me.

I’m incredibly passionate and am drawn to those with similar traits. What’s that infamous saying? Like a moth to a flame.

I gravitate heavily towards things which offer a chance to be involved in something bigger than oneself in this world, and find tremendous inspiration and hope within that. To me, that’s where I’m most at home.
