Mark Baratelli is a musical improvisor & Editor of The Daily City, an Orlando, Florida arts & culture blog. He got introduced to online media in 2005 when Ted Murphy plucked him from obscurity and created a position for him that required him to come up with ideas. He was the first person at Mindcomet to make a podcast, a blog and a viral comedy mp3. A year later he left because he could not sit in a chair for eight hours, come in on time or keep a time sheet correctly.
He toured his solo improv show to New York City, Miami, Chicago, San Francisco and Charleston and went back to NYC and got two national tours.
He's been running The Daily City arts and culture blog since 2007. Because of the success of this niche hyper-local blog, you can find Mark at opening night parties (camera in hand), 10am press film viewings, and online twitter fights with random readers.
